略歴
昭和５５年地元民謡研究会に入会、NTV日本民謡大賞長崎県大会優勝。
昭和５６年テレビ長崎主催「長崎観光の夕べ」に出演し、ゲスト審査員の斉藤京子に認められ、翌年内弟子となる。
昭和６０年NHK邦楽オーディション合格
平成元年コロンビアレコード所属、「長崎ぶらぶら節」でデビュー
平成４年「十日町小唄」全国大会優勝
平成６年「ちゃっきり節、十日町小唄、長崎甚句、長崎新地節」発売
平成９年初の歌謡曲「ふるさと再々」発売
